About Common Sense Queers

Following the tragedy at Bondi Junction in 2024, a group of queer, trans, and gender-diverse local resident in Sydney formed Common Sense Queers. The purpose is non-partisan volunteer-based groups is to organise local stakeholders together to make progress on 7 key issues:

Common Queer Sentiments: 

1. Support Equality legislation
2. Pro-Trans !000% 
3. Support Sex Worker Rights 
4. Collaborations with Police to Improve Public Safety 
5. Recognise, Promote, and Empower First Nations Voices  
6. Careful balance with allied corporations
7. Allow pill testing at concerts and festivals
